| Donnybrook | Donnybrook was settled in the 1860s and became a goldmining town in the 1880s. It is now renowned for its apple and stone fruit orchards, dairy farms and timber. We stop here for morning tea and take a stroll around this delightful town with its antique shops and fruit and vegetable markets. |
| Balingup | Then it is onto Balingup in the Blackwood River Valley where we have lunch. Balingup has a delightful village atmosphere and is home to the Old Cheese Factory Craft Centre, the largest art craft centre in Western Australia. As well as the Old Cheese Factory, there are also several other galleries and antique shops in Balingup which you may wish to visit. |
