Safety:Comfort:
- I have been driving these bush roads for years and have driven along all the routes my tours go on many times.
- I carry a satellite phone, stocks of water and food plus spares for the bus and trailer.
- I am an experienced 'bushie' and in true Australian tradition can fix just about anything.
- I always take a co-driver to share the driving on long hauls.
- I have a first aid certificate.
- My bus is fully air-conditioned, has comfortable raised cloth seats, tinted windows and curtains, foot rests and cold water on tap.
- I supply not only a foam mattress but also a comfortable stretcher for each passenger. The tents are strong and sturdy and can withstand high winds. No sleeping on the ground when we camp on my tours (unless you really want to).
- I have taken passengers of all age groups (including some in their 90s) and am aware of their stamina and accommodate their various paces.
- My food is of high quality, fresh, nutritionally sound and plentiful.
- There is a strict no-smoking rule on the bus. However, we have regular toilet stops and you can light up then (please bring a lidded tin as an ashtray to prevent littering and reduce fire hazards).
